The Same River Twice...

Zane’s (known) allergies at 4 months: Dairy, Egg, Soy

Eily’s (known) allergies at 4 months: Dairy, Egg, Soy

My reaction to Zane’s allergies at 4 months: Crying, gnashing of teeth, feelings of complete and abysmal failure as a mother

Physical State: skinny and hungry

My reaction to Eily’s allergies at 4 months: WTF?!! I’m a good mother, yo. This m%6$f%&in bites!

Physical State: not-so-skinny, oh-so-hungry

So…I guess it’s not exactly the same river… :)

Oh, dude. I'm sorry.

I was going to say that it bites but that might be a poor choice of words.

I am SO sorry for Eily's allergies. That really does stink. I echo your words. :) She, just like Zane is in good hands.

That sucks. *hugs*

I'm not sure what it says about me that I fixated on the fact that you were skinny at 4 months with your first one. That depresses the hell out of me, I have to tell you. :)

I'm gonna have to side with lis on the skinny thing.

Well, at least you know how to work around it this time, right?

Ditto x4.

You are amazing parents, and with Zane's experience to back you up, all those mountains you trekked before will seem like pebbles. Best wishes!

Huge mountains of suck. I have nothing positive to say except she better not have asthma if she knows what's good for her. Yeah- you're awesome parents and all but another kid with food allergies and asthma? No way. That would be proof that someone somewhere has it in for you. I don't know who but watch out in dark basements and foggy solitary forests. Isn't that where the hero always gets eaten by the monster? xo.

There is always spam sushi.

drama mama-
me, too. and it totally bites - ironically, metaphorically, and literally.

knew you'd understand. it is easier this time. still blows, though.

no need for depression - it's all changed with the second.

just ignore what i said to lis. it will make this pregnancy more bearable.

thanks. it was good to have zane as our "practice run", but now he makes me say all the things he's allowed to eat that eily can't have. it's actually kind of funny.

if i ever figure out who the "someone" is that has it out for us, i'm going to chew some bubble gum and kick some butt.

and seriously...we better dodge that asthma bullet.

unfortunately for spam sushi, we are becoming concerned that little girl is allergic to rice. yep, i said it. rice.

because the aforementioned "someone" seriously hates me.

I am so sorry that you are going through allergy drama again. Your children are beautiful and look very, very happy. You and Scott are great parents; will you adopt me?

Okay, when are you going to get off of your butt and give us something new. you act like having a baby, new job, and traveling keeps you from meeting the needs of your fans. wtf!
